Artist-in-residence programs for Finnish artists abroad

To promote links between Finland and the international contemporary visual art scene, FRAME works in partnership with international artist-in-residence programmes. The aim is to provide Finnish artists residencies, research, production and presentation opportunities abroad.

In recent years FRAME has collaborated with several artist-in-residence programmes from different cultural environments around the world, e.g.: Rijksakademie in Amsterdam; Location One in New York; Capacete Entretenimentos in Rio de Janeiro; AIT in Japan; Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center in Istanbul, FACT in Liverpool; Camden Arts Centre in London and the SPACEX in Exeter.
