The Nordic Pavilion at the Liverpool Biennial 2010 is curated by Claudia Lastra in collaboration with NICE (Nordic Intercultural Creative Events)

The artists chosen for the Nordic pavilion find inspiration from urban landscapes, social environments, identities, rhythms in movement and fetishized commodities. These imaginative geographies helps us to look at our own ritualised ways of living, everyday experiences of the cities environment and materials with which we identify ourselves with.

Artists: Kalle Brolin (Sweden), Knut Asdam (Norway), Hrafnkell Sigurdsson (Iceland), Johanna Lecklin (Finland), Marianna Morkore and Rannva Karadottir (Faroe Islands), Hrafnhildur Arnardottir aka 'Shoplifter’ (Iceland), Soren Thilo Funder (Denmark).
